Julie & Heidi Tie the Knot...in a Parking Lot :-)

My beautiful, and most fabulous friend Jen gave my name to her coworker, who was looking for a photographer!  It would be a wedding at a campground in Bridgton, and then a booze cruise on Casco Bay to celebrate!  Heidi contacted me via email, and I never knew her last name.  (This information comes into play in a bit).  We never met, but I corresponded with her and Julie through email, and were both very excited for their nuptials!

Prior to the day of the wedding, Maine got horrible rain storms...which flooded out the campground.  All of the facilities closed, the beach was closed, and if you needed to get to it, best put on your waders and truck through the knee high water! 

Well the couple improvised and got married in the parking lot surrounded by their loved ones.  At least they'll have a good story to tell.  Also, much to my surprise, a classmate of mine stepped out of the limo.  I had no idea how he was involved in all of this, but it was great to see him.  Finally had a moment to speak to him, and come to find out one of the brides was his older sister (which I never knew existed!). 

Anyways, probably one of the most fun weddings I've ever shot.  Music was amazing, food was fabulous, and the weather was perfect.  Congrats Julie and Heidi!
